Delivering Scouting in Macclesfield for almost 50 years

24th Macclesfield Methodist Scout Group (registration number 43554) was established on 12th September 1980. We are an educational charity (Gift Aid Number XN88051) sponsored by the Macclesfield and Broken Cross Methodist Churches.

Whilst we are sponsored by the Methodist Churches, we are an inclusive organisation welcoming members of all faiths, genders and ability. We value diversity and always work to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected.

24th Macclesfield is governed by a volunteer Trustee Board, whose role is to ensure that our scouting activities are run safely and legally. Their support helps our volunteer leaders to deliver the fantastic activities and camps for our young people.

We are all in Scouting for the same reasons that our young people are – to have fun and to develop our skills.

24th Macclesfield is one of the largest Scout Groups in our District of Macclesfield and Congleton and we believe it is a great place to belong.
